tippr Content Policy

3 tippr is a platform for communities to discuss, connect, and share. The following Content Policy governs what is allowed on tippr and what is not.

1. Remember the Human

4 tippr is a place for creating community and belonging, not for attacking marginalized or vulnerable groups. Everyone has a right to use tippr free of harassment, bullying, and threats of violence.

2. Abide by Community Rules

5 In addition to this Content Policy, every community (vault) may have its own rules. Users are expected to follow both site-wide rules and vault-specific rules. Posting content that violates vault rules may result in removal of content or bans from that vault.

3. Respect the Privacy of Others

6 Posting personal information (doxxing) is prohibited. Do not post or share:

• Names, addresses, or other contact information
• Photographs of private individuals without consent
• Social security numbers, financial information, or passwords
• Any information that could lead to harassment or harm

4. Prohibited Content

7 The following content is not allowed on tippr:

4.1 Illegal Content

8 Content that violates the law, including but not limited to: - Content that sexualizes minors - Content that facilitates illegal transactions - Content that violates intellectual property rights

4.2 Harassment and Threats

• Threats of violence against individuals or groups
• Encouraging or inciting violence
• Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
• Targeted harassment campaigns

4.3 Hateful Content

• Content that promotes hate based on identity or vulnerability, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression
• Slurs, dehumanizing language or "jokes" aimed at any of these groups
• Misgendering or deadnaming someone to demean them
• Content designed to intimidate or silence others

4.4 Spam and Manipulation

• Spam, including repetitive or automated posting
• Vote manipulation
• Coordinated inauthentic behavior
• Fake engagement (likes, upvotes, awards)

4.5 Impersonation

• Impersonating individuals or entities in a misleading manner
• Creating accounts to mislead about your identity

4.6 Malicious Content

• Malware, phishing, or other harmful links
• Content designed to harvest personal information

5. Prohibited Behavior

5.1 Ban Evasion

9 Creating accounts to circumvent vault or site-wide bans is prohibited and may result in permanent suspension.

5.2 Brigading

10 Coordinating with others to overwhelm a vault or interfere with another community is prohibited.

5.3 Abuse of the Report System

11 Repeatedly filing false reports or abusing the reporting system is prohibited.

5.4 Breaking tippr

12 Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities, disrupt services, or interfere with tippr's operation is prohibited.

6. Moderator Responsibilities

13 Vault moderators are responsible for:

• Enforcing their vault's rules consistently
• Removing content that violates this Content Policy
• Acting in good faith when moderating

14 Moderators who fail to remove content that clearly violates site-wide rules may have their moderation privileges revoked.

7. Enforcement

7.1 Content Removal

15 Content that violates this policy may be removed without notice.

7.2 Account Suspension

16 Accounts that violate this policy may be temporarily or permanently suspended.

7.3 Vault Quarantine or Ban

17 Vaults that consistently host content violating this policy may be quarantined or banned.

7.4 Appeals

18 If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you can appeal through the contact page.

8. Reporting Violations

19 If you see content that violates this policy:

1. Use the Report button on the content
2. Contact vault moderators through modmail
3. For serious violations, message the admins

9. Changes to This Policy

20 We may update this Content Policy as needed. We will notify users of significant changes by posting an announcement.
