3 Welcome to the tippr Moderator Community! This document outlines the expectations, responsibilities, and best practices for moderators on tippr.
Welcome, Moderator!
4 Thank you for volunteering to help build and maintain our community. Moderators are the backbone of tippr, ensuring that vaults remain welcoming, engaging, and safe for all users.
5 As a moderator, you are trusted with significant responsibilities. This guide will help you understand your role and provide resources to be an effective moderator.
1. Your Role as a Moderator
1.1 What Moderators Do
- Enforce Rules: Ensure content in your vault complies with vault rules and site-wide policies.
- Curate Content: Remove spam, off-topic content, and rule violations.
- Foster Community: Create an environment where users feel welcome to participate.
- Respond to Reports: Review user reports and take appropriate action.
- Communicate: Keep your community informed about rule changes and vault updates.
1.2 What Moderators Are NOT
- Employees: You are a volunteer, not an employee, contractor, or agent of tippr.
- Paid Staff: Moderation is a volunteer activity; there is no compensation.
- Company Representatives: You do not speak for or represent tippr or tippr.
